I am a Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Marketing at the Yale School of Management.
My research asks how the design of digital environments—the goals platforms set, the information they surface, and the frictions they impose—shapes user engagement and the value users realize. I study these questions by combining structural modeling, causal inference, and modern AI/ML techniques, in settings ranging from online learning and video platforms to online dating.
I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees of Economics from Peking University and an M.A. in Statistics from Yale.
I'm currently on the 2026–2027 academic job market.
